Unknown decoration

Hi all, I've been having a bit of a "rummage" around on the "Bay" and came across this little interesting and pretty bauble, I've never seen one before. Does anyone know what it is, and if genuine, I assume it's some sort of unofficial piece. It's described as "Preußisches Ehrenkreuz 1.Klasse 1914 - 18". Unfortunately the images don't give any indication as to size.

Any Ideas?

Vet society insignia?  Cross & swords body component looks like inspired by or made using Bulgarian Military Bravery pin-back badge die .  If latter probably 55 mm. diameter.

Detlev Niemann's book identifies this as the Prussian Honor Cross, 1st Class of the Organization of Prussian War Participants 1914-1918 (Prussian Krieger-Bund).

The one on ebay is a fake. This cross has been faked a lot in recent years and sold by the Raritätsammlersclub and their minions. The seller selling this one is one of the minions.

You're right. The pin is wrong. But, more to the point, it you look closely, you'll see that the badge is cast and too thick. Real ones of this are actually hard to find and go for 250-300 EUR.
