I came across a few of Russian Imperial miniatures, but (of course) I have the following problems: authenticity and value:))

Can someone who is more experienced in this area give me an idea about the items I am going to list.... 1) AUTHENTICITY 2) PRODUCER 3) VALUE ( FOR ME TO PAY)

    1) St Stanislaus miniature in gold, 12 mm

    2) St Stanislaus miniature in silver 20mm

Authentic, most likely European made. Prices around: $200 & $300.

Here is very similar one ...

Agree with Alex. Russia did not have a tradition of miniatures. They were mainly worn by overseas Russian diplomats and forrign recipients of Russian awards.

Thank you very much. I suspected Chobillion as the producer of the gold one. Chobillon advertised two miniatures of this order in their sale catalogue. This is definitely the smaller one.

The one that worries me is the silver one posted above. That miniature is structured in a way that I have not seen before.

Any idea who might be the producer? Also the time of the production?

These are the photos from the original Chobillon sale catalogue.

You can see St Stanislaus miniature in two sizes.

    Thank you very much.

To be honest, I didn't buy that one, but I bought the smaller one made in gold.

    Lovely piece.

It's hard to say, who is the manufacturer, because there are no maker's marks.

I have two St. Anna miniatures that look similar to yours. First British, second French made.

Indeed, british St.Anna miniatures are pretty close to the french. So it`s practically impossible to identified the manufacturer without marks (or without group).

    St Anna miniature, 11mm, gold

This might be French production, A.Bertrand according to some catalogues that I have.

Unfortunately, this catalogue contains illustrations, but I am almost sure this is the piece from the catalogue.

If someone knows for sure, please tell us.
