Japanese Imperial Merit Order ?

Hello,

I buy and sell militaria.  Right now I have the opportunity to buy what I think is a WW2-era Japanese Imperial Merit Order.  Can you please take a look at the photos below and help me identify it?  As well let me know if it is rare or common?

Pretty common badge.

It's a post war badge.

The six-pointed logo arrived in 1950.

This version of the badge was introduced in 1960s.

Dear Gentlemen,

 

It's worth noting that the 4th kanji on the lid is the traditional kanji, and the reverse of the medal displays the shinjitai one.
