Graf Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Hi JeffV, It nice and original to me -minus few chips - Yes it is Silver Gold gilded and the marks look on the ribbon loop ( French mark for silver "boar head" and maker,s mark -the romboid one) and one on the very bottom of the cross ( French mark for Silver) are OK If the price is right around 300 -350 Euro . Cheers

Graf Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 Hi JapanX, Yes, the central medallions of those luxury models are made of 18 Carat Gold . Some of the crosses are made of 18 Carat Gold some are Silver very heavily 18 Carat gilded In my opinion the making of 18 Carat gold crosses stopped some time between the WW1 and WW2 period After this period crosses in 18 Carat Gold are extremely rare even to the used to extravaganza French
