Hello everyone, I recently picked up the Chevron not that long ago and I thought I knew what it was but I was wrong? Help me out with this is be greatly appreciate it. Could it a colonial piece or veteran item? It may even be from the 1920s?

It was also worn together with the mine qualification badge by Freikorps Volunteer Minesweeper troops clearing mines in the North Sea in 1919.

    Nice Badge !

    You mean my badge?

It's part of a grouping I have belonging to Oberheizer Robert Esselmann who served in the Freiwillige Minensuchverbände der Nordsee.

No. I'll have to go through his 2 passes again and check that. But, I have a feeling he didn't because that's his picture in 1919 when he was in the Freiwillige Minensuchverbände der Nordsee.  I also have his cap tally that says "Minensuchverbände der Nordsee. "

    Hello Everyone,

Thank you for weighting on this insignia. I would say that we both have very nice insignias.? Granite, yours is a little nicer with an excellent grouping to top it off.
