Unknown French Medal dated 1916, can someone identify it please.

Can someone please identify this medal and tell me what it was awarded for. Its dated 1916 but not sure its anything to do with the war.

Looks similar to:

 

1914 1916 WW1 French 37mm silver medal by Lagrange agriculture antique sower - the reverse is different though. There is one here on ebay:

Yes, they seem quite common, but can't find any information on them.

I think maybe a regional medal for agriculture? Nothing national.

Yes, that's what I thought. The obverse seems to have been used on quite a few medals and plaques.
