hirmiestelio Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Trying to figure out what these two service women are who were seen at the entrance to Westminster Abbey during the Queen's Funeral yesterday. The uniforms look really like WWII uniforms, and we've been trying to ID them. Anybody know what these are?

hirmiestelio Posted September 24, 2022 Author Posted September 24, 2022 Thanks so much! They look like WWII uniforms! Really nice!
Terry37 Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 (edited) There was a contingent or about 25 FANY members who worked during the days following the Queens passing. I suspect they served in communications as that is one of their primary functions in times of emergencies. The white stripe on their shoulder is a light blue-gray with the letters FANY in ruby. paul wood Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Interestingly they share the HQ with the London Scottish (or vice-versa). P
