Sławek
Hello IR61 An interesting medal made by casting with the subsequent joining of halves. The cast edge of the medal and the characteristic crack created during production. Regards, Sławek
IR61
Hi Slawek. Interesting, is this a common method? Never seen befor. Is this medal an early exampel or is it only from another manufacturer? kind regards Tommy

JapanX
Certainly not your usual mint-made medal but die casting was used from time to time by private manufacturers. In fact this medal was made by joining two halves. Each half was die casted.
