State Coats are the 'gold' ones worn by fanfare trumpeters, the mounted band of the Household Cavalry, and Foot Guards Drum Majors on State occasions. May) ago there was quite a good program on BBC2 (U.K.) about the family company that makes the Red ceremonial uniforms for this coronation called "Coronation Tailors : Fit For a King".
