2 Special 57 Pilot badges

A couple days ago i was on the Göttinger Cemetary and found two Pilot Graves. I really love the 57 Pilot badges.

Here's another Pilot Badge recipient, again in Göttingen

 

Göttingen. That's my home town!  The military part of the Stadtfriedhof  is quite an eye opener. I believe that the headstones are original and that they were later modified to remove anything contentious.

Hopefully, I've got the photo's right this time!

Yes, the military part is indicated on the cemetry plan by the arrow. Section 45,   46 usw (Ehrenfriedhof)

Found the other Pilot Badge

Helmut Meißner "our only son and brother"  found his Heldentod being just 19 years old and already a 2nd Lieutenant Pilot... exactly 9 more month and the war was over: how sad, poor boy.
