dond Posted September 19, 2023 Author Share Posted September 19, 2023 It is the rarity of the thing that gets me. A state visit. The guy gets handed a gong for being there. Adds his LS medal in 1913 and then probably put the bar away when he went to war. I think the award is rare enough that if he had survived the war it would have moved to his post war medal bar.
