Hi Gents,

I’m pretty sure previously I found out the unit this ‘belonged’ to, one part of which had the distinction of wearing the crescent & star in gold… but annoyingly I can’t find it at the moment. 
‘Zouave’ is one that keeps popping up in my search results and that is probably the answer but I still did not find the above reference to this one’s gold insigniaI that I was looking for.
Maybe one of you Gents will know what I’m on about 🤷‍♂️

 

Regardless it’s a nice looking thing…
