Here’s a fake Friedländer PLM that sold for $1135!! The usual suspect. This seller dumps one a week, various “makers”. Please note the similarities to the one posted recently in a separate thread. I’m sorry but I’m still astonished every time someone buys this garbage.

The low winning bid shows that almost no one is buying this crap now. Knowledge spreads slowly but the internet is out there for all to use.  Not too long ago this would've sold for 3-5 times this.

Rick, here is another fake Saxon case. And another product from our Schraegstich friend. For comparison I'm including a couple of shots of a real Reuss Arts and Sciences Cross. These are rare.

When selling, if the case (or anything else) is a reprodction... Do the right thing, and identify it as such.

It's a fake, the medal bar is a fake constructed from real medals, and all in a cutlery box.

 I really didn’t like this bar, but maybe I’m wrong. The style just doesn’t seem correct to me for what’s here. Opinions? It was sold for $800

Hmm, that is a weird one. The frosting on the RAO is strange, and the JZ on the KO looks suspect. I'm not convinced with the EK either, but we have seen medal bars with this type of hook fastening.

a GMVK don't fall from the sky, if the seller don't have the name of the man it must be a fake. nobody will find such a bar on a flea market or find it on the attic long forgotten.
