The medal bar was over 1000-Euro when the bids were cancelled and the auction ended. The other lots are still active on eBay.de. Always bugs me when a group is split like this! The medal bar was relisted, other lots closed for: EK1: 166-Euro Mini set: 223-Euro Ribbon Bar: 115-Euro Blank Medal Bar: 134-Euro Full Medal Bar currently sits at 1454-Euros

I’ve had several of these over the years, mounted and cased but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen one come to the market. I woke up at 3AM to watch the bid jump from 300 to 1300USD, still a pretty good deal. Edited August 14 by lew
VtwinVince Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I was bidding on that one, but with the weak Canadian dollar, it didn't make sense.
Stogieman Posted August 15 Author Posted August 15 This little bar went to an offer in Germany, asking was 400-Euro
Stogieman Posted August 18 Author Posted August 18 (edited) This mini group brought an impressive 615Euro Edited August 18 by Stogieman
Stogieman Posted August 18 Author Posted August 18 Interesting ribbon bar in nice condition, 177-Euro
VtwinVince Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Hmmm, some pretty rare minis on that chain. And that Feldschnalle should be identifiable.
lew Posted August 20 Posted August 20 (edited) An extraordinary Freikorps paperwork grouping, including certificate for Iron Division medal, Kurland medal, Baltic cross and EK2. Edited August 20 by lew
lew Posted August 20 Posted August 20 --------------- ---------- ---------- ------- ------- ------ ------ ------ ------- AWS Jubilee cross ------ ------- ------ ------ Another FAI license -------- ------- ------ ------
lew Posted August 20 Posted August 20 (edited) Another extraordinary and extensive paperwork grouping of an retired air gunner, including award certificates for air gunner badge, retired pilot badge and EKs. Both air badge certificates are very hard to find. ----- Unmarked Karl Poellath Bavarian pilot badge Edited August 20 by lew
Stogieman Posted August 20 Author Posted August 20 Wow @lew! Thanks for adding all these! That Bavarian Badge is only the second real one I’ve seen run through eBay through all my years and I bought the first one! Very nice to see!

I hope someone was able to reunite this group
VtwinVince Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Some nice aviation material, in spite of the bad condition of the docs. A couple of nice Keller signatures in there. And you're right Rick, real Poellath badges are darned uncommon, the last real one I saw, I bought back in 2013.
Stogieman Posted August 22 Author Posted August 22 A rather trashed medal bar still managed to bring $488!
Stogieman Posted September 21 Author Posted September 21 Personally, I think this was a real bargain on eBay.de, rarely seen, never mind the case and document! 458-Euro
VtwinVince Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I saw that one, and agree that the price wasn't crazy.
Stogieman Posted September 22 Author Posted September 22 This interesting pair sold on eBay.de for 174-Euro.
Stogieman Posted September 22 Author Posted September 22 This rather interesting frack bar sold for 1200-Euro. 1
Stogieman Posted September 22 Author Posted September 22 And unfortunately split up from the cased VK, this Albert 2 went for 240-Euro
VtwinVince Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I would have bid on the latter, but the case wasn't OEM. And the combo on that Frack threw me for a loop, couldn't make any sense of it.

The original bar was sold by Marco Kögl, you can still find it in his archive. Thias was discussed in the SDA
Stogieman Posted September 22 Author Posted September 22 Thanks for the additional information and clarification
Stogieman Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 Sold for 1059-Euro, not entirely sure about this bar, precedence isn’t correct and no photo of the entire reverse posted
