Some people must have liked it as it received 46 bids and closed at 1410-Euro
Stogieman Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 This was a relisted item I believe, with a price drop to 549-Euro. I know it’s damaged, but it’s real. Given what that S&L piece of junk sold for I don’t understand the lack of interest
Stogieman Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 Also eBay.de, asking 485-Euro, no bids. Note the lack of pin on the feldspange.
VtwinVince Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 You're right about the St. Henry Rick, I don't get it either. I didn't like that colonial bar.

But it seems to me now he have a passion for colonial medal bars and you see such rare awards like the Militär Ehrenzeichen with china or africa medal on every second of his masterpieces. There’s another one listed there now. Cased with the outer carton, which I’ve owned in the past and only seen a few times. But the opening bid is insane! Be very careful, there're some new fakes, look at the hinge pin. https://www.ebay.de/itm/335751262530?itmmeta=01JGCWPPN53M7TQEYBYFBQTQFR&hash=item4e2c55b142:g:ZpsAAOSws95nctpF&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAAwMxmj%2BiGvOveHXEBClPb29h1dwCzutnUgij4WFUTdQzEgtv6qNCsBT0aVUF8Y%2BXIK4AZyqWbpNlt9nTZ8TMI2ufyQ6uR8esYnavij9FSzsgmzfXdPHao23Bwf%2FXrGduQGJgHT4WHeTdbIZY%2BpseNLKv148YT%2BQsz3w6HzbhRxsPu2%2Bfk2yhpj98gJXscZCLgRXsc59RDkl1sz98%2Ff3T4OyFyZMw%2F2rJ7I38vBQf5dYYuVJ%2Bfo6YiVSgNjfRUsjmdXQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR9Tq2pyDZQ
Stogieman Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Hi Lew, unfortunately very true and sad. That seller is a known pusher of copies. They have multiple accounts, all variants of the same name. Operating in Germany and the US
Stogieman Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 This one’s been floating around eBay.de for months, opening bid is 500-Euro. I do agree with Lew that it’s a legitimate Scharffenburg example.
Stogieman Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 A substantial number of interesting items closed in Germany today. Let’s start with this: 381-Euro
Stogieman Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 (edited) Nice Hesse Phillips RK1, 561-Euro Edited January 5 by Stogieman
VtwinVince Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I was coveting that Trapetz, but alas, too rich for my blood.
Stogieman Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 Last one from yesterday in Germany. I don’t know this version of the White Falcon, never seen it before. Quite a bit of interest and closed at 657-Euro. Comments welcome!
Stogieman Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 (edited) Very nice non-combatant bar, $485 Edited January 6 by Stogieman
VtwinVince Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I liked the clapped-out Wuerttemberg bar, the non-combat one not so much.
Stogieman Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Unsure on this one but placing it here and welcome comments and discussion. Too rare for me to be sure. Impressive with the case. Asking was 1200-Euro, no takers.
Stogieman Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Hi Vince, that’s pretty disturbing with that case!
Stogieman Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 Rather surprised this only brought 246-Euro. The miniatures alone are probably worth more than that!
Stogieman Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 I doubt anyone will actually buy this with an opening bid of 2115-Euro, but it’s nice to see a real one for a change
VtwinVince Posted January 10 Posted January 10 A nice example at twice the normal price. Better hurry!
