Interesting little medal to Docteur Valude - can anyone tell me where I can get more information?

This is an interesting little medal I've just acquired.  Is anyone able to tell me where I could find out a bit more information about Docteur Valude please?

Hello Duncan,

 

According to the "Journal Officiel de la République Française" of 6 August 1914, Dr. Marie-Emile Valude received his medal as a "commercial mutuality" doctor in Paris ... see right hand column in the attached document.

And I found a list of doctors practicing in Paris, established on January 1, 1918.

 

There is a Dr. VALUDE (Marie-Emile-Clément-Barthélemy), birth date 12 janvier 1885, living in Paris, 240 bis boulevard St-Germain...

That's fantastic, many thanks both of you. I read that a Doctor Valude removed Monet's cataracts, but can't find where I read that now.
