Avitas
Hello gents,I just picked up these beauty WW2 Calgary Highlanders cap badges at a local antiques shoe yesterday (I'm sure Darrell and Laurence will be fans), and I was wondering why they have two different finishes. The one is the standard copper colour, while the other has a brown paint-like coating on it. I haven't seen a Canadian Cap badge with this colour finish before. Any other examples out there? My two guesses on the differences would be A: the brown finish was rubbed off of the one, or B: they were from a different time period. Any ideas on this question is appreciated. Thanks again,Pat

Pylon1357
The Brown or "Chocolate" coloured badge is usually associated with Service Dress.
