drspeck Posted Sunday at 21:08 Share Posted Sunday at 21:08 Dear all, I picked up these ribbon bars some time ago. Something with the Carl Eduard medal was missing from my collection and I' ve been looking for it for quite sometime. Any thoughts on these? It looks like the bar with the metal backing took a bit of a beating. And could this be a unique combination? Also, how many swords can you fit on a bar... (probably a lot more...) Daniel Krause Posted Monday at 19:57 Share Posted Monday at 19:57 More likely the 2 ernestinians after the long service were awarded after the abdication. Carl Eduard did hand out his gongs at least up to 1935. Best, Daniel

landsknechte
Quote Carl Eduard did hand out his gongs at least up to 1935. Out of curiosity, do we know whether those post war awards included awards with swords?
