JohanH Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Hello! Does anyone recognize the ribbon on this bouton / ordens-button? I suspect that it might come from one of the nordic countries but I might be wrong.
Great Dane Posted January 6 Posted January 6 No, not Danish... The only decoration that comes to my mind is the Austrian Red Cross. Any maker on the button itself?
Wat05 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 What does it look like from the front and back? Can you maybe see any markings or stamps?

Of course it must be the Austrian Red Cross! I can't believe I didn't think of that! 😐 The button is maker marked for Boullanger Paris France. It's quite usual that Swedish boutons are made in France, I have some others in my collection. The bouton have what I think the following ribbons: Yellow ribbon Pale blue ribbon - Swedish jubilee medal? Red ribbon - Legion de Honor? White/red ribbon on outside - Austrian red cross? Dark blue ribbon on outside - Finnish White Rose? I first thought that the yellow ribbon was the Swedish order of the sword. But it looks like all-yellow. 1
Wat05 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Oh I didn’t realise that it was a boutonniere for many awards. How interesting!
dedehansen Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Hi Gents, could be this one or similar: https://woeschler-orden.de/katalog/archiv/oesterreich-ehrenzeichen-fuer-verdienste-um-das-rote-kreuz-ehrenzeichen-i-klasse Kind regards Andreas
Lukasz Gaszewski Posted Sunday at 13:09 Posted Sunday at 13:09 My belief: Iron Crown + Red Cross + sth else (Leopold?)
