For a long time, I had this “1914” barrette, which I always thought was fake given the rarity of this type of barrette. (If, however, you have arguments for or against, you never know...). However, it presents well and I was looking for the 1870 model of the Hessian military health cross to combine the two... It is now done, with this pretty cross from 1870, accompanied by its typically Hessian case : Failing to find one of the rare original combinations of crosses from 1870 attributed with a bar from 1914, I can nevertheless illustrate this type of assembly... 😀
