David M Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Good evening! Would anyone of you happen to have access to the book by Volle on the Militär Karl Friedrich Verdienst Orden and could check the data on V.E.L. v. PORBECK for me who received the MCFVO in 1809? He started his career in Baden in 1803, coming from kurhessian service in the Garde together with his father. Thanks so much in advance. David
David M Posted Sunday at 09:04 Author Posted Sunday at 09:04 If anyone would have access to August Graf von Hennin, Stammliste der Offiziere des 1. Badischen Leib-Grenadier-Regiments Nr. 109. 1803 - 1903; Müller, Karlsruhe, 1903; 146 Seiten I Would like to complete his bio with that.data. thinking in anticipation david
arb Posted Sunday at 11:45 Posted Sunday at 11:45 The entry on page three of that Stammliste is for Major 1805-Gen.Maj. 1809 Heinrich v. Porbeck. He died on 28.07.1809 in St. Talavera. Looking at your link, I do not believe this is "your" officer. Andy 1
Haku Posted Monday at 08:00 Posted Monday at 08:00 Not from the “Volle” but from Zelosko the justification for the award of the Knight's Cross. 2
