Bob Hunter Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 Possibly, but the most learned opinion would come from the "evil twin" ( a subtle attempt to get the evil one to blow his cover...)Frankly, I am never sure which one it is.
Guest Rick Research Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 Silly, I am the Good Twin. Nope, navy looking as it is, backing and all, I cannot find ANYBODY with crowns to Red eagle and peacetime Bavarian MMO4 with these awards, 1914 or 1918.So it must have been army, Xth Army Corps... and weird backing material. ???
Deruelle Posted May 22, 2005 Author Posted May 22, 2005 Thanks for your reply Rick. Like this week I am not in France, I can do more research about this ribbon bar. First, I will looking in the X. AK and after if I can't find my man, I will read the RL 1914.RegardsChristophe
Stogieman Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 Interesting that he kept a "pure Prussian" mounting, with even the combat awards from other states mounted at the back of the bar! Very nice one!
