    I compared the number six with the picture on the Mondvor side, and the lines of six looks

    to fat.

    I'm glad I thought it looked odd. Notice the shape of the number box and the difference fron Andrei's example.

    This item closed at 1260- Euro (~$1600USD)..... someone will be very disappointed when they figure out their error...

    Also, notice the difference in the thickness of the "C"s and the dots that seperate them.

    I am sure that there are many other differences too.

    BTW, I am not a new member, and this is not my first post. For some unexplained reason, I was unable to log in this morning and had to re-register. Hopefully this can be strightened out.

    Uh oh, Evil Ricky-- got to get you your copy of Durov & Strekalov back--

    TWO batches of "6" ORBs were made-- in 1950 at the Moscow Mint and in 1954 at the Leningard Mint. Two line mint marks on both types.
