Stogieman Posted July 3, 2006 Author Posted July 3, 2006 I'm glad I thought it looked odd. Notice the shape of the number box and the difference fron Andrei's example. This item closed at 1260- Euro (~$1600USD)..... someone will be very disappointed when they figure out their error...
alanirvine Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 (edited) Also, notice the difference in the thickness of the "C"s and the dots that seperate them.I am sure that there are many other differences too.BTW, I am not a new member, and this is not my first post. For some unexplained reason, I was unable to log in this morning and had to re-register. Hopefully this can be strightened out.Alan (alanirvine) Edited July 3, 2006 by alanirvine
Guest Rick Research Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Uh oh, Evil Ricky-- got to get you your copy of Durov & Strekalov back--TWO batches of "6" ORBs were made-- in 1950 at the Moscow Mint and in 1954 at the Leningard Mint. Two line mint marks on both types.
Stogieman Posted July 3, 2006 Author Posted July 3, 2006 Thanks Ricky, hope to stop by again soon so we can discuss the book!
