The uboat doesnt look right either... the propeller/rudder area seems to have no details... like no scew at all! In fact the exact design was shown on an series of original wartime propaganda postcards with war badges in the "Tag der Wehrmacht" series.I have to admit the pin looks a bit dodgy but in fact is also a legitimate style for the period and can also be found on the Imperial U-Boat Badge, possibly from the same maker.
