Guest Rick Research
Very easy to find, with the right books MUCH easier (and quicker AND cheaper) than combing through the original listsNote that the original roll has him as "Lotha." Even ORIGINAL sources have errors that must be corrected!Ribbon #3 with the Xs only shows up after the Second War started. It is probably a KVK2X, but in the only portraits I've seen (so far ) it looks almost like a Silver grade Ostvolk award. His last ribbon is a 1939 Westwall Medal.
