    1. I understand your situation - I'm not a document expert. You need to have a reputable document expert evaluate this. If he accepts the Urkunde as original, who cares about the spelling. I hope this works out for you. Regards, Hardy
    2. I'm sorry to say - but I agree with Robert. I looked up all the information available to me regarding the Kurt Peters above, his name was never spelled with a d at the end. There was only one Kurd Peters (the one with JG300). To spell Kurt with d at the end is very unusual, so unusual that I believe no one would make that mistake in an official document. The people who made this fake document obviously mixed up the two men and therefore ended up with the wrong spelling on the document. Notice that in the real letters to his wife he is only referred to by his last name.
    3. I think it is good. The Sudedenland Medaille was also awarded later to military personnel participating in the occupation of the remnants of Czechoslovakia on March 15, 1939. For instance, the 4. Panzerdivision was created in 1938 (finished creation in November 38) Most of the personnel in the 12. Sch?tzen-Regiment were Austrians. Their first deployment was to occupy the rest of Czechoslovakia.

    6. I think the postcard is addressed to Herrn Oberzollsekret?r Ludwig Eibenstein in Jena I have not figured out the sender yet (terrible writing) whoever it was he served in 1923 in the (s?chsisches) Infanterie Regiment 11 I think he served during the war in I.R.107 (the picture must be from that time) ... what a handwriting - I have to stop now - my eyes are hurting
    7. I don't know about the RIR81, but RIR93 had four MGK - a Regiment's MGK and each Batl. had a MGK as well.
    8. Not sure if you request information on Field-hospitals or Train-Bataillione But this might help for hospitals from: German Army Handbook (April 1918)

    13. It could read "Papa" as well - the other name is just scribble, perhaps it reads "Papa GReich" (G and R written in one swoop) like I said scribble, frustrating :banger:
