Brazilian Victory Medals
lambert replied to RobW's topic in Inter-Allied Victory Medals of the Great War
Hello to all I found searching the internet doing some combinations of names, pictures of a medal Victory Brazilian it seems, would be a medal type 1. Unfortunately no images have edges, only the words of the description: "CASA DA MOEDA - Rio." The most curious thing is that the type of suspension is different from what we know. Really would Medal type 1? Best Regards Lambert -
Bill and all. See the photos of the item for sale Vic Cuban suppose were made from the same mold. also includes the "signature" of the sculptor.

hi Jim, The medal on the right at the top, is your right? She has the "W" inverted too, like my medal ... This is also the position "F" (France) above the "G" (England). What is the correct classification for this medal? Best Regards Lambert -
Hi Bill. I followed the auction Medal Polish, but I did not enter the contest, followed just to see how far the price would come .. This is worrying. Lambert

Hello All. In time for the party. I agree with Jim, the last time I Vics a large number of "rare" for sale on ebay, let's say that this time, 90% and false. and many "variations" such as so-called unofficial medals, after all, how many types of "unofficial" exist? Sounds like a very good output for this type of medal (false) arranged to get higher prices. The medal Cuba above is false, it is the same cast of English sells who copies on ebay for a very modest price, it reports that copies of these medals are rare. Lambert

Cuban Victory Medals

Hello Rob. It's good to have him back. is exactly the same cast, perfect! I agree with you, at first thought of a private production and only then the comment that Bill made on a production of medals without worrying about the quality seems to be right. See what can we conclude that it could be a discovery of a "new type'' unofficial? Regards Lambert -
Cuban Victory Medals
lambert replied to RobW's topic in Inter-Allied Victory Medals of the Great War
You are right Jim. There is a difference in the metal used for this medal, as the ball was "deployed" another medal, maybe just a replacement of the original medalhar "lost or damaged", of course, are just guesses. Lambert -
