Hello, I thought I could share my group with you before it's gone http://www.anbratt.se/helmets/nagler/ The soldier N?gler did some serious fighting at Isjum in Ukraine, October 1943, and got both the EK2 and EK1. Hello, I got this very interesting report a month ago that I would like to share. I will soon put them on my private web page so you can download and read it at home. It's about the last push to Dietl after Operation B?ffel stopped. Can anyone tell me more about Oberleutnant Conrad? Regards, Stefan

Kriegsmarine Zerstorer Doc help
Stefan replied to genoa41's topic in Wehrmacht Medals, Decorations & Awards
Hello, I will soon have the same kind of document at home :-) My question is why men on the destroyer Richard Beitzen got the destroyer's badge? As I've found out RB secured the home base for the home coming ships during the Norwegian campaign. But was that enough to get the award? Can that kind of information be found in Foreman's award books? Regards, Stefan -
Outstanding document Rick! Very fun to see that piece of history Jani: I bid on that group also. It was a nice one. I missed you in the militaria fair in Stockholm. Sk?l, Stefan

Interesting. My document are from 1919 but then he got a medal in 1922 according to the paper above. So perhaps he got two of them? Was it ebay.com or ebay.de ? Do you remember if his name was in the text? Tackar :-) I was the only bidder on this one (German ebay) and the pictures were really bad. When I got it in my hands I jumped for joy :-) So there are some more parts of this group that needs to be found... Thanks for all help & information that I got from you guys. I really appreciate it Pete - will you take the Finland ferry to Stockholm tomorrow? There is the militaria fair in Solnahallen and I will have a table there. Sk?l, Stefan

Liberation war medal Wiipuri (Viborg) and Tampere (Tammerfors). So he was first in the Tampere campaign (with Ausfeld?) and then down to Wiipuri (with whom?). (I'll continue later with the other scans...)
