    1. A couple of watches.... first off a watch with protectice cover to a guy from reserve infanterie regiment 222
    2. Hi, can anyone confirm the name of the commander of the Sturmbataillon Nr 9? I think Pechmann? Thanks Chris
    3. I dont know who this belongs to... but a very cool photo.....
    4. Folks are seriously bidding...... http://www.ebay.de/itm/Uberzug-Stahlhelm-M16-M17-M18-Helmbezug-Pionier-oder-Freikorps-/271873526925?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item3f4ceccc8d
    5. Jup, that comment sent me to my small breadbag pile... have a couple with similar fittings.
    6. Not having ever seen one, my first thought when I see the one with the brass stud is something to go on a british Sam Browne setup?
    7. Here is the square loop... it matches the fittings on a Period Binocular case....
    8. Unfortunately I missed the Promotion documents and the Prewar MVO 3rd class without swords and the later MVO 3rd class with swords and crown :-( But this is the only chance I will ever have for the docs of the commander of one of my favourite units :-))
    9. Unfortunately the group was split up on Ebay and I could not get all of it, however, I did manage to get the parts where he commanded the 2nd bavarian Jägers, which is a bit of a favourite for me... Ernst Lettenmayer only commanded the Jägers in 1914, but he was the commander at the battle at Lagarde, which is a big day for the Jäger battalion.... His EK2 Document and MVO3rd class with swords... both as battalion commander....
    10. I love these.... I got my one after it was posted for a very low price on ebay buy it now with terribly bad photos, no mention of a maker.... impossible to see if it was original.... but was cheap enough to take a chance..... I ended up getting copys of some photos and was able to dig up some history..... http://kaiserscross.com/41815/504501.html
    11. " PC George Cooke (Died 26 June 1900, aged 47) Died from a ruptured blood vessel resulting from his shouting to wake a sleeping carman near Spitalfields Market." had anger management problems? :-)
    12. Just picked these up for a song and a dance.... am not sure if they are german, or even WW1?
