I have not really bought an EK in Ages, although I have landed up with quite a few... Today I could not resist this one....

Which is really nice, 1917 tabbed buckle, with the 1914 dated belt stamped to IR118...

I had a nice green steel one which I regretfully traded about a year ago.... but got this tioday....

almost forgot....

Unfortunately I do not have the history of the 84th, but I did find him mentioned twice in the reichsarchiv history... one for an attack on hill 304 at verdun (yup, that made my day) and once for the Tank Battle at Cambrai. I am not sure what he did in 1918... I usually collect just EK docs, but this one I had to have, it is kind of "the next step" and I needed one of the docs. If anyone has a history of the unit... I am a bit lost as to which unit... I tend to think it was artillery? It cannot be Füsilier Regiment (as far as I know...)
