    1. I used to collect these, but got rid of them ages ago... add yours and maybe this can be an instant database chapter. EK and Spange variations....
    2. this one belonged to a Fallschirmj?ger. It is unusual as it is made the same way the old Gibralter titles were made.... ie. the ends were never folded over, just sewn zigzag along the ends.
    3. Hi, the 42 cap was just there for show. These were the awards he would have had at the wars end. Gordon told me that he only discovered his KC had been approved long after the war, so he never actually wore it. Best Chris
    4. An unusual "Zweitschrift" redone at the highest command. Misera went on to win the oakleaves and golden close cbt clasp. I had his KC as well.... way back when..
    5. Here is a good eample of the rule that a man who got the silver wound badge automatically recieved the EK2. The order was given that this was possible WITHOUT contacting the unit to see if there was a bravery citation. the awrds could be done by the Stellv. Kommandierende General of the Wehrkreiss. So if you have a single EK doc with all typing for who signed it like on the one below, you can be pretty sure that it was an automatic award made back home for a badly wounded soldier
    6. Cant remember the name of the guy, it was a nice jacket. Had a trace of a second panzer destruction badge as well.
    7. The jacket of Max Fabich, when he was commander of the Panzer Fusilier Regt of the Korps GD. He later commanded the Panzer Fusilier Regt of the Division GD.
    8. No longer in my collection, now in Bill Shea's hobby room..... This one was a killer....
    9. Long gone from the collection, but here is a close up for the weave of an SS HBT jacket
    10. They were worn by a former Mayor of the next village
    11. Hi, Have these kicking around in a drawer so i scanned them for you 3rd Reich guys....
    12. I have a couple od EK docs where the men are refered to as "Gefreiter Muller II" or "Schutze Schmidt II"
