    1. It depends what you want to collect. There are ways to collect Imperial erman that give you huge enjoyment for moderate prices... Welcome to the dark side!!
    2. Unfortunately a dead end, but I will do some research on the crossings of the river. Did you see the erased 14-15 star on German ebay for EUR299? :-)
    3. Very Impressive!
    4. I once read that Andorra was at war with Germany from 1914 until 1945, for the simple reason that it was forgotten to include them in the treaty at the end of WW1 ?
    5. Hi, just out of intrest, and knowing nothing about these.... I read the OGII engraving is fake, so as a complete Ignoramus let me guess.... it is the one in the middle? Even as someone who just occasionally sees Russian engraving, the numbers look very unusual? Best Chris
    6. Hi, rrectly.... He earned his Ehrenkreuz as a 15 year old.... a pretty unique group I think? He was in the volunteer Motorboat Korps
    7. Hi, a double shot here... is the officer Von Kessel/Ressel? And can anyone make out the family name of the recipient? Usually we see Auflösungs Kommando... this seems to be the Aufarbeitungs Kdo ?
    8. Hi Dave, Magic! Thanks, I had expected that to be a dead end.... that battalion changed pretty often!
    9. Jim, that is fantastic... all of it!! Can you post a close up of the Tanker crertificate? Thanks Chris
    10. Super, thanks! That means the buttons there are brobably the full set of a uniform like this, maybe even cutt off the uniform and kept in a box while the uniform was trashed ???
    11. Hi, does anyone know what the different kinds are? There seen to be 3 different kinds (Excluding those in the top line), the largest being 24mm, then a middle size, then some the shoulder board size but without the screw posts (The size with the chain). If I remember correctly, the one with the chain is for an officers cape? Best Chris
    12. Hi, I will be trading it sometime in the future, I cannot afford to add another branch to the collection, it is hard enough to stay on a straight line as it is! ;-)
    13. I wonder if they were buried at Frejus because it was no longer possible to identify remains? is it a mass grave or individual ones? All the best Chris
    14. Damn.... a Schickle-Finke-Mayer Hybrid..... Who woulds thought it????? :-) It is a nice piece. A number of years ago I told myself I would only collect pinbacks as a sideline and not keep any screw backs... but this one is kinda cute....
    15. Hi, I have just been informed the top three are Kaisers Yacht Club (in Kiel)... the rest are WW1 German Navy....
    16. Hi, thanks, that is what I suspected, I think it fits with the one piece 800 silver pinback I had a year ago. Best Chris
    17. Hi, The cross is a non magnetic one piece it seems, I cant say if the shell itself is 800 silver.
    18. Here is a pretty cool chain IMHO....
    19. Hi, it was pointed out to me that a pilot would have had a pilot badge on the chain, or would that have been more of the WW2 era thing? Navy would have been another posibility. Unfortunately I am unable to get a name for the winner.
    20. Hi, I got a small box of Imperial Navy Buttons today.... does anyone know what these are? Kaiser's Yacht ?
