    1. Thanks a million, that helps me in a big way. Any idea how long Müller stayed in command? i.e. was he there in early 1916?
    2. Is it possible to say if the officer who signed this actually commanded the Regiment in 1914, or is this a catch up document issued at a later date? Thanks Chris

    4. I dont know whats up this month, but i could not refuse this MINT Bavarian Rodenstock one.... still some dust in the cracks, but it was the best 08 I have ever seen, and bavarian on top of it..... Not something I could afford this month, but it had to be...

    8. Here is the front and back of the badge, it has been repaired. It originally had pins left and right, so it may have been a collar badge ?

    12. I went in through the top, i.e. the part that screws into the mask. You need to do same damage inside, but it is not visible with the filter screwed in... and you can then stop the rust, inside and out, no problemo ;-)
