    2. I have not really bought an EK in Ages, although I have landed up with quite a few... Today I could not resist this one....
    3. Which is really nice, 1917 tabbed buckle, with the 1914 dated belt stamped to IR118...

    7. Unfortunately I do not have the history of the 84th, but I did find him mentioned twice in the reichsarchiv history... one for an attack on hill 304 at verdun (yup, that made my day) and once for the Tank Battle at Cambrai. I am not sure what he did in 1918... I usually collect just EK docs, but this one I had to have, it is kind of "the next step" and I needed one of the docs. If anyone has a history of the unit... Best Cchris

    15. I guess noone wants to tell the Major he is wrong.... Although I expect it is just after the award of the panzer badge and therefor he just hooked it on...
    16. I am a bit lost as to which unit... I tend to think it was artillery? It cannot be Füsilier Regiment (as far as I know...)
    17. Thats very nice indeed! I dont have one of those yet. Will PM you ;-)
    18. I am not up on prices, but I bet you paid less than half of what they should have cost... Nice find!
    19. Back to the 18th Reserve... I wonder if being attached to the Alpenkorps for a month qualified you for the Edelweiss?
