    1. Well, Good Morning! It looks okay but unfortunately this Order is now being heavily faked with excellent copies flooding the market in both the US and Germany. Personally, I wouldn’t touch an Albert Order these days. The copies are that good. It’s killing the hobby. Unless this is coming from a known and respected source I’d advise extreme caution.
    2. A common medal in a very scarce box! Only the second one I’ve seen in 40 years! 193-Euro
    3. Interesting ribbon bar, possibly identifiable, 188-Euro.
    4. Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen! I’m placing this one here even though I’m not thrilled with the mounting or stitching. I invite your comments. Sold to an offer, asking was 660-Euro
    5. Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen! Long ago and far away, Rick and I were pretty close. I used to visit him a couple times a week. He used to make fun of me and my shopping habits. I would peruse every dealer and site I could find. My theory was that even a bad dealer could have something good despite themselves. He especially made sport of me shopping the old Manion’s site, which was especially full of absolute junk! But, hey, everybody makes mistakes! The ribbon bar here was a Manion’s purchase. I paid $100 for it. I always brought everything I bought over to Rick’s for his help and opinion. He always had first option on what I had. so, I show up with the ribbon bar and he absolutely flips out! “Where did you get this?” He then proceeded to go to his vault and pull out the matching medal bar! He was going crazy over the situation. Rick told me long ago he had bought the medal bar. That someone else bought all the documents. I don’t remember the name he had. well, you know how I feel about reuniting groups and we did some trading. After he passed, the set came to me. It means a lot to me not only because it was his, but it was the first real trade we ever did together.
    6. Update! Lined the bottom of the case with some lovely black felt. A few new items in there. Out of space already and will be searching for a new case. I really enjoy the antique pieces so hoping to find another similar one.
    7. A very nice Phillips Order cased! 1000-Euro! Rarely seen, especially with the case!
    8. Good Morning All! While not exactly thrilled with the obverse core details on this Godet marked EK1, I loved the case and outer carton with the writing. Someone really wanted it as it went for 783-Euro!
    9. I agree that your cross is not only quite real but also quite scarce. I’ve been fortunate enough to have owned several examples over the years, but not with swords. All are quite scarce and I always found this order to be quite beautiful, especially the enameled and scripted reverse!
    10. Good Morning! I was watching this auction as well since it was such an interesting group. I thought it went for a reasonable amount given the swords are rather interesting. Good luck with the research. I know what you mean, it really burns me up when groups are split!
    11. Good Morning, I see no problem here other than the condition
    12. Very nice find! Congrats and thanks for sharing!
    13. Hi, on the website link you posted there’s a rather substantial number of fakes.
    14. Good Morning, unfortunately, this badge does not conform to any known, original badges. Issued or private purchase. Nor is there anything in the published literature that shows this item. Please see Carsten Baldes book or even Steven Previtera’s book for examples of known, original badges.
    15. This was run through US eBay a couple times now with no takers at $135
