    1. I know that official "wearer's copies" exist of this order.... but I have a hard time placing this into the "official issue" camp. Opinions, thoughts, or comments?
    2. That's an interesting cross Eric... from the photo of the pin, it looks to my eyes like someone buffed out a mark and then stamped the G into the pin???
    3. Here's a different example of the scarcer KDS version of the Excellent Employee Badge:
    4. My only example (Gold Class) came in an unmarked case:
    5. Was surfing the bay and saw this pin. very odd shape?
    6. I would also stop shopping on ebay so much Miguel. There's no shortage of dealers in Europe who will guarantee everything they sell to you.... Pictures are pictures. No matter how long you do this, the bottom line is you have to handle a piece to be 100% positive. The best any of us can do is tell you whether or not a photo of a piece conforms to an original.... that is NOT a guarantee that it is. You would be so much better off to take your hard-earned money and spend it with a dealer who stands behind his wares and knows what he is doing...... If you do not know any, ask and I am sure we can offer you some trusted names. You will spend more, but what would you rather do? Know that what you buy is real and guaranteed.... or just keep rolling the dice on the crapshoot of eBay?
    7. One of the really interesting (and occassionally maddening) points to consider when broaching this subject is that the pentangle suspension for these awards remains consistent irrespective of the branch of service. Observed variation only occurs for the drop, or pendant. Armed Forces, Ministry of Interior (including KDS, Police, Fire, Border Guards, etc.), Construction Troops/Labor Corps have been observed. Furthermore, the coat of arms for Bulgaria changes so each variation comes in two types! How about we see how many variations we can come up with!? I'll start us off with a complete documented set of Labor/Construction Corps Medals
    8. Hi Marc, thanks! The limitations of not being able to read cyrillic!
    9. Taz, I have gone back through all my images, archives, etc. and cannot find another example of anything with an FAR bac?!!! interesting!!
    10. (MVR, KDS or Army) Jubilee medal "25 Years People's Rule" Jubilee medal "25 Years Agencies of (?)" (MVR, KDS or Army) Row 4: Russian Military Merit Medal Russian Victory over Germany Medal
    11. One of the reasons I find this stuff to be so intriguing is the absolute detail and quality put into something so simple as this stickpin/badge. This badge is for the 20th jubilee of the Korten Agricultural Coop Farm.
    12. Wow, now those are very nice indeed. I especially like the enameled ribbon ones!
