    1. This particular subject of who made RK has always fascinated me. We know who received the Licence to make RK after 1941, and know some of the firms that produced it before 1941, as Prosper has mentioned. (I understand that Wachtler & Lange also made RK). We know that Deumer were thought to have made them( but denied it.) One author suggested that there may have been up to 88 firms that could have made the RK!! Allan
    2. Anyone any idea who the maker of this one could be. Magnetic core. Thanks, Allan
    3. Thanks Bill, your right it is marked L/19 under the catch. Allan
    4. Here's my latest addition to my cartoned EK1 collection. I've never seen one before, so thought I would post it to share. Allan
    5. Gordon/Marshall, Thanks for your comments. It certainly appears to be a good buy at a great price. I looked through every reference book I have Marshall and couldn't find a match. Well done. Its always difficult when something unusual turns up and you can't refer it to any authenticated example. I think the quality on the one I posted is very good. Allan
    6. Picked this up last week, a bargain. I think it is an early 1st pattern. The pin and catch set up look familir. No silvering, but a lot of character I think. Allan
    7. Please could I have your opinions on this one. Good, bade, maker? Thanks, Allan
    8. Afternoon! Detlev has a buntmetal 1st pattern screwback listed in his book at $600.00. The prices are low compared with what items are actually selling for. I would think at about ?350.00 Rich, being a screwback. But, havene't seen one to make any comparison with. Are you buying or selling??????? Allan
    9. Just the type of thing I live Gordon (nudge nudge wink wink) Allan
    10. SMALL!!!!!!! collection Jan Superb collection.
    11. Hi Gordon, Yes, the cross certainly has a 'dimpled' effect under the paint. Never noticed that before!! So why one piece? Cuts the cost of production I suppose? Allan
