    1. Thank you for the information I hope any of the members from Bulgaria could help It is very interesting. Only thing I can tell you that the Fifth Class of the Order for Civil merit could be dated in this period It looks as the Second issue King Ferdinand 1908-1918 with King's Crown. Once you got the bar I will be very grateful if you can send the photo of the reverse
    2. Hi It will be very difficult to trace any low grade Bulgarian award More likely if you have to any Dutch materials it will be easier What information do you have for the Bulgarian award Do you have any photos Regards Graf
    3. Hi contrary to the other Belgium Orders It is sometimes difficult to point out the exact period of the Order of the crown This Knight you have listed is real and could be from this period or a bit newer For sure it is not a modern one They are not very expensive -around 30-40 Euro the most for this class Regards Here is a nice Commander
    4. Interesting photo of medical Officer with Red Cross badges
    5. Hi Yes indeed very nice design The Red enamel is a separate two parts piece ( metal frame with the cred enamel backed on top} Together with the arms and the cross are assembled to a rod that is attached to the both sides on the bottom of the crown. The cross can swing back and forth
    6. Fake Bulgaria Order for Bravery -1st Class listed and sold three times on eBay Germany When asked the Dealer rejected my claim it is fake Keeps re.listing and selling for the last three months The price was what he hoped to get The same Dealer is selling many fake German Decorations including medal bars like the one listed in this thread

    11. This PLM is for sale again If you missed the last time now is your chance (just kidding0 Also many fake German states items This Guy is very arrogant when questioned about the originality of the items
    12. Attention!!!!!!! The seller re-listed this item again He still insists it is original made by "other maker' H is using a recent Auction by Herman Historica as example The item is FAKE He listed also many German Items also Fakes Including the same Fake PLM supposedly by Wagner My advise Keep away from this Auction and seller
    13. Very nice.photo I will try to get the third general name From the photos it looks like his position was not as high as the others, however still high enough to be chosen for the meeting. Regards
    14. Excellent photo Thanks That can explain the presence of those generals General Nikola Petkov Hadzhipetkov was Chief of Staff of Bulgarian Army Lieutenant General Nikola Totev Markov was Inspector of the Infantry of the Bulgarian Army Note : The correct Names are Nikola Totev Markov - Totev is the middle name and Nikola Petkov Hadzipetkov The middle name is Petkov In Bulgaria middle name of a male person is derived from the father,s name and v is added at the end In this case his fatther was Petko plus V makes Petkov For female - va is added at the end Interesting fact is the Family name starting with Hadzi It is added to the family name of a person who did religious trip to the Holy land -Jerusalem This Person is called with a respect "Hadzi" Hadji plas Petkov makes Hadzipetkov Then that name is passed to the next generation mainly the males In this case either the general father or the grandfather had been to the Holy Land Now we have to identify the third General Who I assume also held a very high position
    15. It could be General Nikola Nikolov Hadzhipetkov In the 1st picture he is wearing 2nd Class Order of St Alexander, which he was awarded in 1940 -a year before the photo I do agree
    16. Yes The Number 1 and number 4 is the same person and the number 2 and number 5 is the same person too. The number 3 is wearing WW1 cross That is only my opinion I might be wrong and he could be the General Steve identified as Vassil Balaraev I assume Steve and myself are using the same sources.however see the things at different angle Again that is only m guess The main problem is that the sources for the Bulgarian Generals are limited Only the top and well known Generals had more pictures taken and more information is available for them Regards
