    4. Hi, this is not my regular field of collecting but it is part of a Hungarian group which is my field of collecting so I hope someone can help. Who is this General Major? The EK2 is for a Hungarian Colonel (Regimental Commander of Honved IR32) on the Eastern front, 1942-43. Regards, Erik
    5. Hungarian Storm Course booklet with some comparison photo's to the Austrian one in the Stormtroop book by Mr Ortner.
    6. Nice one! Great with the helmets These two also wear cavalry boots and trousers I think (and a single shoulderloop at the officer to the left), not sure if they are also stormtroops? When started regular cavalry wearing helmets?
    7. NCO with the Prusian Kriegerverdiensmedaille (equivalent of an EK for ranks below officer in the AH army)
    8. AH machine gun unit NCO with the Bravery medals and an EK ribbon so for a prussian kriegerverdienstmedaille,or an EK if he was just promoted to officer...
    9. Award certificate for the Hungarian WW1 medal - to a "rohmista" = stromtrooper...
    10. And the last one for now, a ring of the 32nd Division Storm Troops by the Hungarian maker Morszanyi.
    11. Probably storm troops with the combination of helmets and gas masks...?
    12. Unfortunately cannot read the number of the regiment on this card...
    13. I love the posting by Chris Boonzaier and others on the Imperial German forum regarding the German Stormtroops. Hope we can make something similar here for the AH Storm Troops. Unfortunately my own collection is small in this field so please help and get this going! All the best Erik
    14. Here a wartime decree. For most of the war this officer was a leader of an Artillery Reconoissance team and won several medals for that. How he ended up in the Artillery Restmaterial collection department is unclear to me. He had no wounded medal so that is not it maybe otherwise physical or psychological unfit to continu the difficult fighting tasks?
    15. More of the same used to have more examples but trimmed down the collection. These are part of complete groups of officers that became vitéz after the war in Hungary.
    16. Hi 922F Yep he was Major Stefan (Istvan) Miklosy, he was a career officer from WW1 into WW2. No clue what he did at that time though to receive the order. Regards, Erik
    17. One of the favorites in my collection Lt Edelsbrunner with his impressive collection of medals including the Golden Bravery medal when he was an aspirant officer..
    18. I recently added an interesting Austro-Hungarian/Hungarian estate to my collection. In this group is also the St Alexander order 4th class. What could be the reason for a Hungarian officer to receive this order? Would it be linked to his WW1 service? Can these orders be researched at all? Here a photo of the paper and the order in the group. Regards, Erik
