    1. Bavarian 1st Field Artillery RGT "Prinz-Regent Luitpold."
    2. Not $2000. Or did I miss a nose dive in the $$$ over the weekend?
    3. Congrats. Those have been going for stupid prices lately.
    4. I have a couple as well. I'm glad collectors haven't gone a goo goo over them or the prices would be hire than what they are now.
    5. Examine the pins by mark and see if they are all the same. If the "k" pins are all alike then we can deduce they came from the same maker.
    6. And it needs to be ruled in or out.....
    7. I would think a comparison of pins by mark is required to determine if the mark might be linked to a particular pin type.
    8. Exactly. So how does it become a quality control mark then? Personally I think the whole quality control mark theory is weak. Perhaps it is the maker mark of the firm that made the pin.
    9. Mine had a "k" stamped into it. As for why the underside of the pin, well, here's a thought. Look at how a pin is shaped. If you want it to lay flat when you stamp it then it needs to be laid top down. Sometimes the obvious answer is the easiest.
    10. Some unit straps you just never see either, take IR 180 for instance.
    11. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Orden-Spange-Wurttenberg-/191002951161?pt=Militaria&hash=item2c78a9bdf9
    12. Black and white photos do funny things to colors, especially yellow.
    13. Wurtemburg Silver military Verdienstmedal and a DA2.
    14. Very nice. Are you going to remove them from the frames?
    15. The two large ones on the left are US WW1 75mm rounds. The one next to them is a Brit WW2 6 pder AT round. What pipebomb?
    16. I'll rent you a room at my house to store stuff.
    17. I love grenades. It is ironic that the average person equates the stick grenade as "the" German grenade.
    18. That was my first thought as well. They look like kids. Can we guess the date the pics were taken?
