    1. Does your comment refers to the question about the bubbles? If so: The question about the bubbles is often posed to determine authenticity: Cast copies have bubbles, too. But these bubbles are soft and can be perforated by a needle for example. "real" zinc" bubbles are hard and can't be perforated. Or at least not easily. The badge looks authentic but zinc badges are neither rare nor very desirable (in my opinion). Especially because of the re-nazification, which represents a very serious damage/ repair, I would recommend you to pass on that badge.
    2. Indeed, very high quality pieces and of course very rare with less than five hundred awarded in all classes. But these badges are not very sought after. Well Motorsports probably isn't that appealing to collectors or at least not as much as political/ military awards are. A bronze one should be purchasable at 3000-3500 euros. This one is obviously representing a silver one.
    3. Thank's guys. It really made my day when the first class arrived Now where to get a loose breast star (or a sash/neck ribbon/box for 1/2/3 cl) Well, if someone has any of those and want's to sell (but who would want that? ) feel free to contact me
    4. Since we just had the topic on the 1st and 3rd class pillars of state I thought why not on the clouds, too. Although in this case the differentiation is quite easy.
    5. While on topic here we have a different ecclesiastical order of the white eagle and another religious polish order with monogram of Alexander I
    6. Seems unlikely that he served in the 20s or 30s otherwise there would be a Nazi long service award. But with the 20 years criteria for an 8th class treasure its unlikely that this bar is untouched. Another thing: the hook for the sacred treasure is broken off... A damaged unspectacular bar with the last medal missing. So, what to do if one wants to sell it for good money .... Why sold? The auction still goes one day

      Unidentified

You were lucky because that's a fake
    8. Thank you very much for your effort Nick! I'll take pictures tomorrow although post #6 says a lot...
    9. WWII medal bar belonging to a Romanian officer. Interesting is the Croatian Order of King Zvonimir. Even more interesting than that is the Sacred treasure at the end.
    10. Simply awesome! I didn't know you had such a large collection of precious crowns. Interestingly the Meiji pieces, although the oldest, seem to be made in the best quality.
    11. Oh, no compassion for a white Elephant?
    12. An interesting doc of a Double Dragon 2nd class 2nd grade awarded to a German. While the docs are obviously quite rare the interesting part is the pictures of Japanese + Thai decorations on the top. These were cut out of the original documents and glued onto this one.
    13. Yep, probably official or diplomat. Yes a great price at today's rate but at that time all of those pieces were cheaper Sadly there is no way to identify an unnumbered star. Even the numbered ones can't be identified (yet).
    14. Lucky for you because the sash badge can be found quite often alone but the breast star appears, if at all, rarely alone.
