    1. $4200 - and you said "one in a lifetime"
    2. Great topic, guys! Can someone provide a picture of the reverse of any class?
    3. Only one minor correction: Not the same list but the same letter.
    4. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Korean-Empire-Order-of-Auspicious-Stars-Crown-Grand-Cross-1st-Class-Silver-case-/151083186853?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item232d427aa5 Beautiful set and such a bargain
    5. Yeah, we're all in the same boat this time.
    6. Yes, but if we remember that the price for the chrysanthemum was 1.450.000 (the last time, reserve not met) and consider how cheap the two kites were sold on eBay it didn't came to me as a shock. As I said these are just the wrong places to sell such rare awards. I don't think many billionaires are searching eBay and Y!JA each day to get some of these babies (Which are usually offered less then once a year on these sites). But it's good to know were you can score bargains I'm sure they would sell for way more if offered to the right people. Well Nick, are you reflecting on all your purchases now?
    7. As we see - if you want to sell them at good prices chose a renown international auction house.
    8. yeah, but he explicitly states that he doesn't ship international.
    9. 1,368,000 yen for the paulownia
    10. 1,500,000 yen. Do we have a lucky winner here?
    11. Well some of them are very beautiful and/or rare. But since soviet stuff is amongst the most expensive areas to collect (decorations) it's no wonder.
    12. Yes, obviously. I have to say despite the fact that the chrysanthemum is the highest order I like the design of the paulownia way more. The red enamel just does it for me.
    13. And if this wasn't enough at the same time we have a rising sun with paulownian flowers: http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g128845891 By the way, from which period comes this piece?
    14. Oh, come on man, that would be very disappointing! I remember an engraving on the back. It looked like these on many of those pre war labor badges. Well, for a few bucks I'd even take a fantasy piece if the red enamel wasn't made so crudely ...
    15. Some time ago I saw this badge on ebay. It was described as a replica of an unknown badge, so no help there. I really like the dark green enamel and overall appearance of the badge, probably because I love all awards and badges which depict industrial facilities (odd, I know. I really have no idea why I like them so much ). Well, this one really got me but I wasn't able to identify it so I could get one! Now I finally can't take it anymore. Please help me. Does anybody here know what this badge is?
    16. Thank you for your reply. So do you think this was never awarded as a neck version or is the knob period but the loop replaced?
    17. You mean everything it has experienced since it came out of the factory (probably somewhere in China)? + This super old looking "case"
    18. And already one offer if I remember correctly.
    19. Beware guys! This one was offered to me. Luckily I found this page: http://www.greatestcollectibles.com/order-precious-brilliant-golden-grain-badge-6900/ that shows that this piece was sold in January 2012. Not only is it the same piece but even the same pictures. I think the case is clear. Just another crook how tries to sell stuff with stolen images. So if you get the same images I strongly advice you not to send money to this person. Oh, how I despise these people. They are even worse than the fakers. At least they have the decency to actually send you what you paid for. If it then turns out to be a fake it's your own fault because you didn't do your homework.
