    1. Hi all, The Hptm Mau from MWB 31.10.1918 is probably a typo, as there is no person with this rank in the Rangliste.
    2. The first name for Hptm dR Menzel is Walter, from IR 19. His EK1 is noted in the 18th June 1915 edition of the Posener Tageblatt. His record on Ancestry states that he was born in 1880, and he died only a week before the end of WW1. The verlustlisten gives his regiment as IR 154, but it gives the wrong year of birth. Here is a photo from Ancestry:-
    3. The Lt dR Großkinsky is Karl, from RIR 110. He also had the BZ3bx. From the Mannheimer General-Anzeiger date 30 July 1918. https://druckschriften-digital.marchivum.de/zd/periodical/search/173682?query=großkinsky
    4. Hi Christophe, Sorry I haven't found the date for Heymann. I might have found a new recipient though - Generalmajor Theodor Leutwein. I did a cut-and-paste job on the article:- https://de.metapedia.org/wiki/Leutwein,_Theodor_Gotthilf
    5. Hi Daniel, Thanks a lot for your reply. Perhaps he did not have enough front-line hours to warrant the pilot's badge? Here is another unknown officer, I think he is wearing the HOH3x on his ribbon bar.
    6. A first name, the aviator Fritz Siebel (1891-1954). From the Kölnische Zeitung date 05 Sep 1932. More info is available online here:- https://daten.digitale-sammlungen.de/0008/bsb00085893/images/index.html?id=00085893&groesser=&fip=weayaxsxdsydeayaeayaxdsydeayaqrs&no=1&seite=343 https://hannsklemm.wordpress.com/siebel-friedrich/
    7. A first name: Lt dR Paul Meyer (MWB 28.6.1917) from the Bielefelder General-Anzeiger dated 11th July 1917. His EK1 award was noted in the same newspaper, dated 02nd November 1915.
    8. I didn't even notice the helmet beside him. Von Feldmann has a really a nice ribbon bar. Here is an unknown Bavarian aviator. Can anyone read the name on the back?
