    1. Guys, Not sure about this one, odd markings BM1/122, RZM with what appears to be a small 11 incorperated in the M and a serial of 312. What do the HJ or political folk think? I have something at the back of my head that tells me BM is possibly ok but I just can't remember.
    2. Guys, This is a new one on me? Some sort of Farming official at a guess?
    3. Guys, Thought this was interesting and that it probably belongs here more than in the TR section. I suppose this is the symbolic end of the old Germany paving the way for the lunatic that followed. I wonder what Hindenburgs family thought of it all amidst their grief as they must have known that he did not like Hitler but he is very promanent in the arrangements.
    4. Guys, Although a bit dirty I think these will shine up ok. The photos appear to be of Dorfmark rail station,I don't think there is one any more. Shuch a shame folk skip stuff like this.
    5. I will do the whole book after I have done my 'chores' as set by the wife!
    6. Thanks Gordon, It must be East German that has similar then.
    7. Not visible in the above picture is this shot looking down the frame, he is possibly a pilot or air gunner given his junior rank? The paper is still intact on the reverse so I am not going to bust it open to see which badge it is and it may even still not be visible.
    8. Guys, Looks like this sailor has a 4 year medal inbetween some 'flower wars', surely not correct?
    9. Guys, Looks to be a 'Reibert' type book for me, the sort you could buy as a recruit for the basic soldiers skills, seems aimed at officers, well ilistrated!
    10. Guys, This is the bloke said to own the altimeter.
    11. Guys, As this is not my main effort I am sure these are quite common but it is the first one I have seen? His service appears to have started in 1910 so they needed to extend the book? Looks like he got to the end!?
    12. Guys, As stated above. I like the last two, flower power and the laid back looking bloke with a pistol and a fag on.
    13. Guys, This was from yesterday, it was quite expensive but I do like a good helmet portrait.
    14. Martin, very similar to the cards I got for 'der deutsche' on the other post, the format must have been a fairly standard thing.
    15. Guys, A couple of military men sporting their crosses.
    16. Guys, This tickled me, I would not want to try that as a drill. Where does the brass eject, is it downward or from the side? Eitherway I think it would be uncomfortable and a bit loud.
    17. Guys, I had not noticed before but is this the correct chinstrap for an officer, I always thought they were similar to the WH version from the war?
    18. Guys, This has no Luftwaffe markings but allegedly belongnged to a luftwaffe pilot? I guess if you are at altitude then you have to be in some sort of plane. It is Swiss made so probably quite good when it was first made. Anyways haven't seen one before and it was not too expensive after a bit of haggling. The colourised photo is reportedly the original owner (will post on paper section).
    19. Guys, As stated above. She survived the war and a mine strike, noteably used to bring 'Legion Condor' home.
    20. Guys, Present from a pal, he picked it up at Hannover. Reserve, 4 Comp, Füsilier-Reg. von Steinmetz.(Westpr.), Nr. 37. Dating from 1904. The frame is really nice!
    21. I stand corrected! I shall let my pal know this as he is probably passing up the brown ones, this one is another skip find. Bernhard, it is changing all the time, my satnav can't keep up never mind cartographers.
    22. Guys, As stated above, I am told unusual in black, mostly brown usually? Will swap as ever!
    23. Guys, This is quite big at about 80cm high. Looks like a bit of fun?
