    1. Some more. 1-16 are an A4 sized heft form 1941 for rememberance day that year. It was loose leaf so able to scan. Jock
    2. Guys, Went out very late, not much about, but I do like the Polish Registration forms, the stamp is unusual and the bloke on the last one could not write but signed with 3 x's. Jock
    3. Very Uunusual picture Larry, the detail on the eagle is very clear. cheers jock
    4. I would never have thought to paint a water bottle! Yet another angle on your art! cheers jock
    5. Bernhard, Yes it is from the local vehicle meeting, I wish it were mine! I posted the pictures up on here somewhere in the shows section? Eric, You are showing your mileage! Jock
    6. Eric, Pipes lead to a hoover, a subtle hint from the wife! hoover as yet not used! jock
    7. No, I need to sort my admin, the wife has already said I could have a nice study if I just got my shite together! You know she is right! I would like to use it though get some ink in it and a posh pen.
    8. Bernhard, Glad you like it, I shall post up more pictures as that is just a few of them. I am rather surprised that the Regime allowed this to be sold in Germany as it focuses all of the negative world opinion in one place, I suppose they were winning then and thought they were untouchable? At that time they were! Jock
    9. Guys, It was unexpected, always nice to get a surprise! Eric, I do have a nice desk under all the junk (see Pic). I must sort my admin out! Jock
    10. Guys, I got this a gift from a friend of the wife, very nice of her! Jock
    11. Guys, Got this interesting book yesterday, it dates from Sept 1933 when they were doing very well and were no doubt supremely confident. It appears to address the 'lies' of the international and internal press of the times. In hindsight the press had him nailed for what he was quite early on by all accounts, so are wars just enevitable continuing Brians theme....? I would have thought to own this book a bit later on would probably have done you no good! I shall post up some more if any interest. Jock
    12. Guys, Thanks for the detail! I guess he did not have a very interesting life with all of the crooks! I thought though under communism they did not have social deliquents or a need for prisons, quite interesting, criminals being a 'Western Disease' and all! Cheers. Jock
    13. Which buttond are on the shoulders and have you a picture of the jacket markings, I have seen similar buttons on Luftwaffe stuff, but they are a glass/ceramic type of button. Perhaps it has been put together just after the war from stock remaining from both sides? Jock
    14. ehrentitle, I will take your word for it, it is not normaly something I would buy but I see there is interest in this stuff now. They are also quite nicely made documents in their own right even though there must be thousands of them surviving. PS, I will ask my collegues if they brought any Pogs back as a few have returned recently from Afhgan, I had some but gave them away! Cheers Jock
    15. Guys, Not much about from WW1 this weekend, did like the Wachtmantle and the musician so took them the rest were sadly not that interesting. Jock
    16. Guys, These from the week end, all to the same bloke, something to do with the police? Jock
    17. Naxos, Thankyou for the direction. I thought it looked a bit WW2 until I seen the stamp. I guess there is not much between them? Thanks again. Jock
    18. Guys, Is this a military saddle? Marked with crown and Dr.? Cheers Jock
    19. With the Argentine economy in tatters I would guess they want a bit of the oil money from around the Falklands, 'watch and shoot watch and shoot'! It is still a few years before it will be in service with suitable aircraft onboard. I think if they made their move soon they could take the Falklands and there is not much we could do about it. If we lost conrol of the airfields then it would be a bit different to the 80s
    20. Oliver, the markings re right at the front, not visible unless you remove the liner for a peek. the draw string reminds me of footbal boots laces so I would guess replaced at some point. Jock
    21. Tom, I have had some excellent assistance in tracking a bloke down on the '12'o'clock high' site, those guys know there stuff as you would expect from an Avn focused forum. Perhaps give them a spin if you haven't already. Good luck with your hunt! Jock
    22. Guys, These were with a load of rubbish the other day, the French campaign dates from 1941 and the 'mufti' is from 1943. Few shots I don't recall having seen before. Jock
    23. I don't own anything personal that is important enough to shred. If someone wants to wade through it then it time from their life they won't get back!
    24. Tom, Are you sure the bits you are being offered are ok? Quite unusual for someone to split find at a shop? Given he was KIA probably wearing his pilots badge there is always the possibility it has been added to the paper at some point any stories aside? Jock
