    1. I can't find the decoration belonging to the last Ribbon ( officers grade ) Does anyone have an idea?
    2. A month ago I was in England as a guest from the Light Infantry veterans. We visited the K.S.L.I museum. I made these photo's especially for the great people of the GMIC forum! Enjoy!
    3. If I remember correctly the 4th BN K.S.L.I, who won the French Croix de Guerre during WWI wore the ribbon on there schoulder between there divisional sign and the regimental flash. Is this still used today ?
    4. In the Netherlands awards for a Regiment are attached to the colors of that regiment. Maybe that is the same in the UK ?

    7. Thanks for your reply. I think it is Thai because of the "crown" like object over the medal.This is seen on almost al Thai decorations. I hope you don't mind me using this image, if so, please send me a message!
    8. This Dutch medalbar with Thai / Siam and Cambodian decorations was sold in the last FJP auction. Does anyone know what the name of the Thai decoration is? I can't find it in books, dealer and reference sites... It is the third decoration from the left,
    9. CDV-4 is a Lieutenant Colonel from the KNIL somewhere around 1865. He is wearing a mamelukken sword. CDV-5 is a Captain serving with the KNIL Infantry.

    18. found this picture of a frackspange online, ( can't remember where!) the last two decorations are Dutch. The one with the crown is the militaire Willemsorde (military order of William) the highest Dutch decoration for valour. And the last one is the Ereteken voor Belangrijke Krijgsbedrijven with a clasp probably saying "N.Guinea 1907-1915". Who could this man be?
    19. Cornelis Jacobus Snijders 1852 - 1939, he was the supreme commander of the Dutch army during the first world war. As seen in the Dutch Airforce museum. What a great selection of decorations. Dutch, Prussian, Italian, Norwegian. High Res image's. Photo's are made by a friend of mine. It was difficult because of the glass.
