    1. No, unfortunately most of the decorations of this man (and documents) disappeared at the hands of his grandson and heir, who had very different political ideas than his grandfather. Instead of selling the whole parts separated because he thought he could get more money for them separately. I could see the set at the time sold for parts, and among them were the Order of the German Eagle and several Spanish political honors such as the Order of Cisneros and the Order of the Yoke and the Arrows.
    2. Hello friends. Normally in the list of medals won by Göring in World War I are the Pour le Merite, the three Prussian (EKS and HHOX) and the two from Baden (Zähringen Lion Knight Cross and Karl Friedrich Military Merit Order). But in this famous photo of 1932 we can see on his medal bar not 4, but 5 (and the aditional Commemorative Medal por combattants prior of the institution of the Hindenburg Cross): Whah could be the 5th cross, between the Zähhringen Lion Knight Cross and the Deutsche Ehrendenkmünze des Weltkrieges Medal? It reminds me a Lippe Cross without swords, what do you think?
    3. Bulgarian decorations are probably the most beauty and fine designed of the East Europe. 6. Hello friends. Does anyone have information on this Star of the Order of Louise? I thought tha this female Order had only two categories that were carried in a Little loop, so I was very surprised to find this picture of a big breast star.
    7. Hello Markus. It's a very interesting document. As I've seen, many recipients of these medals, especially the Order of the Crown, were members of the Imperial Navy. It also seems that it was much more common the medal of the Order of the Crown that the Medal of the Order of the Red Eagle.
    8. Hello everyone. I am very interested in the wide variety of awards from Italian fascist period and the various wars in which italians participated. In my collection I keep the following parts of this era. I'd love to get for my collection a Cross of Knight of the Military Order of Savoy, but it seems it is hard to get and took many months looking for some in vain. I hope to be lucky to find one next year.

    11. Thank you very much everyone for your responses. From what I've read, the medals of the Order of the Crown and the Red Eagle themself could be granted to soldiers and NCOs but never in times of war, while these decorations were out of the system degrees of the Orders of the Crown. It seems that in reality they were a kind of gifts that could make the Emperor personally, not the Prussian State. Is that true?
    12. Hello everyone. I want to greet all the members of this great forum in my first message. I'm a big fan of military history and a small collector of the two World Wars, and I'd like to ask the following because in this forum there are participants with great knowledge. What awards could receive NCOs and enlisted men of the Prussian Army at the beginning of the twentieth century, and during the First World War? As far as I know, they could receive the following medals: - Iron Cross 2nd class (1914-1918) - Iron Cross 1st class (1914-1918) - Military Honor Medal 2nd class (Militär Ehrenzeichen 2 Klasse) - Military Honor Medal 1st class (Militär Ehrenzeichen 1 Klasse) - Golden Military merit Cross (Goldenes Militar-Verdienstkreuz) - Member Cross of Hohenzolern House Order with Swords (Inhaber Kreuz) - Merit Cross for War Aid (Verdienstkreuz für Kriegshilfe) - Medals and Cross for 9, 12 and 15 years of service Could also receive both medals of Orders of the Prussian Crown and the Red Eagle for war merits? Or in times of peace? Thank you very much for your answers and best regards.
