    2. Great collection, Steve. Love the Air-Gunner There are more Medalbars, what do they look like? Gerd
    3. No problem, Doc Thanks, Andreas. Thats what i understand too. Serialnumbers for starbacks end in the 39X.XXX area. could this one be a "spare"? Both variations are KMD-pieces. Gerd
    4. Doc, its an Order of the Patriotic War, not a Red Star And a nice one too: Gerd
    5. Hi everyone, this nice OPW 2nd class was in the mail today (Thanks Andreas! ) and i was under the impression, that it should be a Flatback with this serialnumber (511.279)!? Anyone has a picture of a starback with a 5XX.XXX s/n? Thanks for looking. best, Gerd
    6. Thats indeed a nice little document group
    7. Very nice! Also a nice mini-bar under the display case. Let?s take a closer look!
    8. Looks like we have a deal I wonder, if Igor takes 50$ payments over lets say the next 1400 months
    9. Gentlemen, this one is currently on CollectRussia for sale. Someone has 77.000,--$ spare? Description: I agree. Stunning
    10. Grrrrrreat Stuff, Andrei What a lovely group What might this guy have been flying? An IL-2? Gerd
    11. Thanks a lot, Gentlemen. Stogie, sure i?ll get it researched. I have waited quite some time to get one of these, so i am going to get it researched of course. I can post, whatever i want, there is allways Andrei, who can show a dozen pieces close to mine. Thank you for the pictures Now i know, it doesn?t depend on the mint mark. Rick, thanks, i didn?t remember, Kremnev?s OPW 1 was close too. Makes me even more courious, what research will tell. Gerd
    12. Hello Gentlemen, i have this OGPW 1st class, actually my first and only one and i would like to hear the opinions of more experianced collectors, if this could be a reissue? The reason, i ask, is that the maker mark is straight in one line, whereas the website www.soviet-screwbacks.com states, that the maker mark in this numberrange should be slightly curving down. The mm on mine is absolutely straight, as it is hopefully visible on the photos. Also, 1st digit of the serialnumber is definately a 7? What do you think? Thanks in advance best, Gerd
    13. Absolutely breathtaking, WC Beautiful Decorations Thanks for sharing these beauties with us. Gerd
    14. Gentlemen, i get all the data from this thread: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=7861 and i want to recommend additionally Paul Schmitt?s "Echoes of War", if you want to know, when what was where awarded. Gerd
    15. Just fantastic Now, that you mention it, i see some gold on the picture. Definately a 1st class. Very nice representative display Gerd
    16. Dolf, both are definately awarded pieces. Your number is from around 1975 and the one from Doc is from about 1985. If one of them were mine, i would try to get them researched Gerd
    17. Beautiful Display Whats in the box on the left beside the Type 2 OPW 2nd class? Great job
    18. Nice, guys. Both are good research-candidates, i guess.
