    1. I just picked up this really nice 1914 EK1. The core has been blued and it is marked 930 on the rear for silver content. Overall a sweet cross with a great look.
    2. Yup he's done it again. Where do they come from?
    3. Here it is in full view mounted.
    4. If I hear of a JWS I'll let you know. In the meantime I will post my latest EK2 aquisition. It's marked KO and is my second one from this maker. I picked it up because it is attached to a single parade mount. It's in good shape.
    5. Thanks Frontkampfer!. I'm sure you'll find a JWS eventually. That's the fun of it. I still have a ways to go to cartch up with you.
    6. I'd say the swaz is fatter than most if not all originals also.
    7. I don't claim to be an expert but this one is easy to spot.
    8. I've seen this cross pop up on a couple of sites and it's been denounced as a fake each time. Not a good one.
    9. Thanks for all the replies to this posting.
    10. So how does this enameled process work? Is the core painted and then enamel applied, or is it just straight enamel over bare iron? I guess there is some sort of baking process involved.
    11. First, thanks for all the nice comments. I didn't think an EK2 marked KO would draw much attention, but it is a nice example. You are probably right about the core being enameled or something similar, as it has a diffrent look than some EKs I have. Is this a hard to find feature?
    12. So you are saying the core is enameled? Can you elaborate?
    13. The rear of the device. It's in good shape. This is my fourth Imperial parade mounted example.
    14. Here's the full view, on my elaborate display board, the flap of a beer box.
    15. Here's the rear of the KO. This is my second KO EK2.
    16. This one isn't going to blow too many minds but I figured I'd post it anyway. I just picked it up. It's an EK2 mounted on a single medal bar or parade mount. I pick these up when I come across them at a decent price. This one is marked KO, and it's actually a nice example overall.
    17. Wow, some great new pickups. Well done.
    18. Wow, some great new pickups. Well done.
    19. And the rear. It's too bad about the washer.
    20. Nice one! And with the washer. Mine is missing the washer, and is also unmarked.
    21. This piece is harder to find than a KO for sure. With those markings, it would be a nice one for any collectrion. Nothing wong with a KO all the same.
