The ribbon bar Christophe

Hi everybody, Here is an interresting photo of General Max Morgenstern-Döring (1858-1931). This General never received the knight cross with X to be wear on ribbon bar as usual. He wore the ribbon for the commander crosses he received on his ribbon bar. The ribbon after the EK2 is for the RAO2X and not for the Hohenzollern knight cross, or RAO4X or KO4X. This photo has been taken before September 1917, when he received the Prussian KO2X m. St. Christophe

Hi Prosper, About the 1939 Spange, the officer can choose to wear it on buttonhole or with the ribbon bar. And if he wore the Spange on buttonhole, this one doesn't appear on the medal bar. for me it's logical Christophe
